A Frigidaire refrigerator at a home on Gateway Blvd SE in Canton, OH recently developed a dead front panel, leaving the dispenser and controls completely inoperable and giving the homeowner a shock in the process. Samuel visited the address and found the user interface had failed, confirmed proper voltage to the component, and replaced the unit. After the repair, all buttons were responsive and the display lit up correctly, with cooling and freezing continuing to work throughout.

The Repair
User interface on front is dead. It has five and 12 V DC respectively to it. Replaced user interface. Good to go. All buttons, responsive and displayed is lit properly.
