A Whirlpool refrigerator at a home on Whipple Ave NW in Canton, OH had stopped cooling, prompting a service call to Louisville Appliance Repair. Samuel arrived at the residence and diagnosed a faulty thermostat as the cause of the problem. After replacing the thermostat, the unit was back up and running.

Unit was unplugged when I arrived. It did power on and resume cooling when plugged in. Looks like we’re looking at either a weak compressor or a faulty thermostat. Thermostat flaky. Replaced thermostat. Good to go.
