On a service call to Carrollton, OH, Samuel found a GE dryer that would not start at all. The start button had split and was no longer making contact with the switch beneath it. A quick parts swap put the dryer back in service.

Found start button split. Unit would not start because the button was not actually pressing the switch. Replaced start button, good to go.
